Job Description


The Business Analyst reports to the Commercial VP for Oldcastle Infrastructure Enclosures (OIE) and is the subject matter expert for OIE who collaborates with key stakeholders across all functions to develop and manage price metrics, analytics, and tools; builds executable strategies in support of the business goals; and leads the continuous improvement of our business processes. The Business Analyst is responsible leading critical analysis functions including but not limited to reporting, forecasting, budget preparation, pricing analytics, pricing strategy, and sales analysis.  Evaluate information and generate various sales, inventory, and customer order reports; analyze business trends, and provide the results of this analysis to internal and external customers. Use advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau to provide an enhanced, easy to understand interface for our users.

Duties Include


  • Develop market evaluations and pricing strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals by market.
  • Identify and execute price improvement projects to improve profitability.
  • Develop and utilize price tools to provide analytics, reporting, and price modeling.
  • Lead the continuous improvement efforts focused on the pricing process to minimize pricing errors and increase our speed and effectiveness of price decision making.
  • Create and manage data repository to capture competitive price feedback and utilize that feedback in support of tactical price decisions on significant opportunities to increase our win rate.
  • Manage the execution of periodic price increases. 
  • Prepare price reporting, dashboards and competitor & market intelligence to share with the cross functional audience.
  • Analyze product performance and trends by market
  • Analyze product mix shift with intent of improving profitability

  • Analyze merchandising tests to determine better in-store and in-dealer selling methods
  • Analyze financial impact of Marketing and promotional spend; attributes by tactic
  • Foster relationships with product management, Sales, and Operations team
  • Recognize trends and needs related to products, customers, and target markets
  • Define opportunities for products and brands
  • Forecast sales and assess adoption for new products as well as portfolio impacts
  • Look for new product trends and share recommendations across Companies
  • Assist in development and implementation of new products by conducting feasibility studies to determine product viability




  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years professional experience, with at least 3 years in a pricing specific role.
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis utilizing Microsoft applications, ERP systems, and other data analysis tools.
  • Aptitude for business finance
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and communications skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and managing multiple projects.
  • High initiative and drive; a self-starter who operates with speed, simplicity, and passion to succeed.
  • Travel is expected to be ~20%
