Position:  Corporate Transactions Attorney (M&A)


CRH Americas seeks a M&A/Transactional Attorney with 3 to 7 years’ experience; Areas of law to include:  Acquisitions, mergers, divestitures / complex commercial business transactions.  This is a “hands on” position with exposure to a large volume and variety of transactions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Hands on responsibility for the preparation and negotiation of all transaction related items from the intake of the transaction through the post-closing process.
  • Structure and negotiate business transactions.
  • Draft and manage the flow of all transactional documents.
  • Perform due diligence, draft closing documents, and supervise closings.
  • Partner and advise all levels of business management and leadership.
  • Analyze proposed transactions to ensure that they comport with applicable regulatory and compliance laws.
  • Travel up to 20%




  • 3-7 years’ experience as a M&A/Transactional Attorney; internally within a corporation or within a firm.
  • Proven track record of working all facets of M&A transactions
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing in one or more jurisdictions, with the ability to be admitted to the Georgia bar within six months of hiring

  • Ability to make decisions, inspire client confidence in work product and judgment and be accountable for such decisions and work product.
  • Background in construction/materials related industries would be helpful for this position, but not required.
