Summary

 

Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions is looking for a bright, customer-focused, driven, and creative Marketing Manager with the ability to uncover and leverage customer insights to lead the design, execution, and assessment of our marketing programs. The Marketing Manager will engage directly with the sales and product management teams to grow sales for Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions products.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Marketing strategy
    • Facilitate marketing strategic planning process and annual assessment review
    • Create and implement a comprehensive annual marketing and communications plan
    • Manage the Enclosures Marketing Budget and provide monthly variance report
    • Provide information to management and sales teams by collecting, analyzing and summarizing industry and market trends
    • Monitor competitive activities.  Evaluate market activities and adjust market strategy to address changing competitive environment.

 

  • Brand management and alignment  
    • Ensure compliance within the manufacturing plants, fleet and by all field staff and Distributors
    • Establish process for brand building and sharing
    • Oversee company “brand message” to ensure alignment throughout the organization

 

  • Demand generation 
    • Establish key market focus with each market segment and region to grow sales with the product management team develop and implement launch plans for new products
    • Provide key information, reports – marketing objectives, margin analyses, competitive activity – to the sales team
    • Establish lead generation, qualification and sales follow-up process
    • Provide sales support tools – presentations, sales/tech sheets, collateral

  • Marketing Communications
    • Facilitate marketing communication strategies, manage corresponding budgets, lead implementation
    • Create and manage trade show strategy including developing pre and post trade show analysis
    • Create and manage “marketing mix” for company and product brands – digital and print media, trade shows, webinars, customer events, etc.
    • Website management – evaluate and improve functionality, ease of use, and content for each target audience
    • Work closely with national communications and events manager to ensure enclosures business is aligned with the overall company strategies

 

Required Education/Experience/Skills

 

  • BA/BS degree required, ideally in marketing or business.
  • 3+ years relevant marketing experience, quantitative/financial analysis, product/project management, business to business marketing and e-commerce.
  • Industry experience in building materials, engineering, manufacturing, and similar industries is preferred.  
  • The ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and editing tools is necessary, and prior experience is a plus. Prior experience with website development/management is preferred.
  • Technically proficient and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
