Job Summary

 

The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers. Job duties entail the operation of an off road heavy duty truck including water truck, quarry truck, and stock truck.  Also, provide help in other areas of the aggregate production facility and other duties as assigned.

 

  • Skills required are attention to detail in a fast paced, high production industry; and have the ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment.

 

  • Candidate must be highly self motivated, who has the desire to improve production, and the work place environment.

 

  • Candidate must be willing and able to work extended hours in a production environment

 

  • Must keep truck in a clean and orderly condition.

 

  • Operator will be responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.

 

  • When working with co-workers, constant eye contact will be maintained when backing, communicating using hand signals or other movements.

 

  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbs. Physical abilities test will be required. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

Education/Experience

 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.  Previous experience a plus.
  • Valid State driver’s license
