Currently we are looking for a full time permanent Logistics Coordinator for our London, Ontario plant located at 1788 Clark Road, London.

Responsibilities:  CRH18  #LI-SS1

  • Report to the Superintendent and District Manager
  • Responsible for the oversight, scheduling and management of the owned and hired trucking fleet required to service the London Construction Operations
  • Monitor report and manage trucking costs within the company budgets 
  • Dispatch trucks by organizing, analyzing and overseeing the assigned work load in order to provide a high level of customer service while achieving all budgetary targets.
  • Improve efficiency by analyzing Key Performance Indicators and developing strategies and recommendations for improvements.
  • Optimize fleet resources based on project locations, travel times and product availability within the delivery region
  • Adjust to real time changes in a fast paced environment in order to meet  operational demands
  • Communicate with drivers and asphalt plant operators through regular phone calls and two-way radio system
  • Cultivate strong relationships with drivers to ensure scheduling and delivery accuracy

Working Conditions:

  • Standard 50 hours per week, will be required to work overtime and night shifts based on operational requirements  
  • Working on a job site, from a construction site trailer
  • Daily exposure to construction environment i.e. heavy equipment, oncoming traffic, inclement weather (heat, cold, rain etc.) 
  • Full G License
