Help lookout for jobsite safety, help our customers with concrete issues, and to ensure Pennsy Supply’s concrete is being tested in the field using accepted test methods and reporting concrete results to lab technicians and supervisors. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for own personal safety at all times as well as maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job. Be familiar with and follow Oldcastle’s 14 Fundamentals for Fatality Elimination.
  • Monitor concrete testing on jobsites to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
  • Correct any deviations in these procedures or materials from the requirements.
  • Prepare and record accurate information and forward to personnel in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate trucks on jobsites if needed.
  • Communicate between contractors, dispatch, labs, and mixer drivers.
  • Evaluate data for deviations or trends away from accepted standards.
  • Obtain ACI, PennDot, and other required certifications in a timely manner.
  • Assist internal and external customers in any concrete quality related matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Other Requirements

  • Current Driver’s License and reliable source of transportation.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.
  • Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
  • Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual.
  • Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 months of experience preferred.
  • PennDOT certifications are preferred but will train.
