Ten-day Temporary Special Project (Wyoming Preference)

Wage $13-$18/hour

2 Positions Available

 

Summary

This position will require the coordination of traffic control and the safety of the vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with other flaggers regarding traffic on the job site.
  • Direct traffic using the appropriate signs.
  • Work to ensure the safety of pedestrians and material drivers going to and from the job.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a certified flagger.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence.  Ability to communicate over the company radio.

Mathematical Skills

  • Basic Math

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to make the best decision regarding the safe and efficient flow of traffic.

Computer Skills

  • None

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Flagger certified.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
