Position Overview

The Mobile Equipment Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving the support systems needed to manage the TNY Inc. equipment fleet. Assure accurate cost and accounting practices are administered.  Works under the direction of the TNY Equipment Manager


Roles and Responsibilities

(Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Live out the TNY core values of Safety, Quality, and Integrity
  • Provide accurate data to manage and reduce the overall fleet spend for on and off highway equipment.
  • Train site managers on the proper use of the Viewpoint, infield and CMMS applications
  • Manage key KPIs for CMMS such as Work requests, Work orders, and Downtime reporting
  • Maintain accurate AMT Life Cycle Data Base and reports
  • Act as master planner/scheduler for key major component changeouts
  • Assure all scheduled PMs are performed in a timely manner
  • Reconcile meter readings for EOM close
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.



Marginal Duties and Functions

  • Assists other departments as requested or assigned
  • Assist TNY Equipment Manager with auctions and other disposals
  • Assist in preparing equipment capital and operating budgets



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.




  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years minimum of industry experience



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Construction, Engineering or related field
  • Experience in mining, construction or manufacturing preferred
  • High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint



Work Requirements

  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and company procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and occasional night shifts.
  • Willing to travel to various work sites.
  • Must be flexible and able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature depending on priorities.  Ability to multi-task is essential. 
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA.
  • Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position is: Face Shield, Safety (hard toe)      Shoes, Dust masks & Hearing Protection.

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel
  • The ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in a logical and organized manner and possess strong problem solving skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and documentation skills
  • Ability to deliver results through a wide and diverse team who does not work directly for you
  • Ability to be a self-starter and able to operate under general guidelines
  • Ability to perform under deadline pressure.
  • Highly developed oral, verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with management and peers.
