Job Summary

 

The LPC Lead works alongside the SR Production Lead/Shift Supervisor in coordinating and organizing the production efforts of the LPC Department in a safe and efficient manner to meet all production goals.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Works with the Sr. Lead to ensure proper staffing requirements and to address training, personnel issues, safety hazards, equipment, product issues, and other vital information.
  • Follows production schedule and leads department to ensure that production objectives are executed.
  • Checks the availability of materials that will be utilized throughout the shift at the start of the day.
  • Completes line start checklist
  • Documents and reports on equipment parameters, metrics, and downtime of equipment
  • Works with Quality and Maintenance department to address quality and equipment concerns
  • Performs weekly Safety meeting and informational meetings with department associates.

 

Requirements

 

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with management
  • Knowledge of mechanical aspects of equipment and excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Good computer and math skills
  • Reliable, dependable, proven work ethics
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and positive attitude
