Summary

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate who can prepare work to be accomplished by reading and studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, gathering parts, tools and materials for the production of door frames.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Use hand tools, such as drills, screwdrivers and impact wrenches to build and box various door frames
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders, and process the work orders by due dates provided
  • Read and perform calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions and decimals
  • Complete daily worksheets and forms, calculate necessary measurements and inspect work consistently and efficiently to meet production goals
  • Learn different aluminum profiles
  • Ensure the machine and tools are in good working order, perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on machinery/tools

 

Requirements

 

  • Basic computer knowledge to key out the order that is built
  • Ability to wear the provided and necessary safety gear (hard hat, earplugs, glasses, met guards, gloves, arm guards)
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work mandatory hours from 6am-4pm (some days the schedule could be from 5am-5pm), Monday-Friday, and occasional Saturdays from 5am-1pm
  • Ability to work safe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk and reach frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work inside a warehouse that is not climate controlled (warm temperatures in the spring/summer seasons, and cool in the fall/winter seasons)
