Summary

 

Seeking a reliable Receiving Technician to help maintain materials and assist in getting them stocked. Our Receiving Technician will be responsible for assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Stack metal extrusions (24 feet in length)
  • Box stock lengths (aluminum frames/extrusions) by hand
  • Read and process work orders by required due dates
  • Complete daily worksheets and forms
  • Keep work area clean
  • Occasionally operate a forklift, scissor lift, or sidewinder to retrieve or place material

 

Requirements

 

  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace
  • Must be able to be trained in operating forklifts, sidewinders or scissor lifts
  • Must be able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Must be able to work scheduled shift time from 6am - 2pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime. Occasional Saturday work may be assigned and will be required.
  • Must be able to wear necessary safety gear. This includes a hard hat, earplugs, safety glasses and gloves, which are all provided. Steel toe shoes with metatarsal protection are also required but not provided.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and in a team environment

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Must have ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk and reach frequently
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work inside a facility that is not climate controlled (warm temperatures in the spring/summer seasons, and cool in the fall/winter seasons)
  • Must be able to work outside, occasionally, to retrieve materials or dispose of waste
